At least it will be like I want it when I get done this time. Will just give me inspiration and ideas for my future Nova pro touring build.

She's fine, just thinks I'm crazy to take a truck that looked so good on the outside and totally blow it apart like that. Makes her wonder about me.

It is probably a good thing I don't have room in my garage to tear mine apart...Thank you Biscayne! (That might be the first time I've said that.)

Hey Josh, whats wrong with that brown paint on your chassis?

It's ok if you're into that kinda thing. It's actually mostly dirt but it will be nice and low gloss black in a while.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Man I've been slacking. This thing was on page 3 already! Ok, the truck has now been 100% disassembled and the chassis is on the trailer and ready to go to the blasters tomorrow. Paint is ordered so hopefully I will have the frame back, painted, and partially reassembled by the end of this week. I cant beleive I took apart such a nice looking truck to do this and I'm sure Bigarmzz wants to strangle me but it'll be so sick when it's done. Sorry Biggz.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Naah, I like the way they look with the dropmember but it's not for me. The roads suck so bad around here I would tear the truck to pieces if it was that low.

How much of this and which products would you recommend for a frame and suspension parts? Looks like pretty good stuff. Can you brush it on or do I need to spray it? Thanks man.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

I used 2 quarts of the chassis black topcoat on the last one. Turned out great. Just brush it on with a quality brush and it levels out so nice it looks powdercoated.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

The blaster called and said the chassis and control arms are ready so I will pick them up tomorrow. Paint will be here in a couple days so hopefully it wont be apart too long. Now if anybody wants to start donating front end steering and suspension parts we'll get this chassis rebuilt and back together in no time. I will also accept paypal donations to ifixbenz@hotmail.com Just kidding!
