Nice work. How are you going to blend the patina into the new paint?

If you keep that in the back window then I believe you'll get your wish and have to move to Texas. The liberals in your state will make you leave.

Re: Cheap trick patina 70

Its funny we live in a gated community and we are very lucky that we don't have hoa. I only have three neighbors and they are both gun loving conservatives. I bought my house because we got a smoking deal. If my wife would leave we would be gone but she will not leave her mother. But I can tell you after the kids are out of high school we will be gone. I will sell it all and go live in another state.

its a deluxe mirror from brothers trucks. It was chrome but I sanded it with a scotch brite pad to get the satin look.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Ya I understand but when you are born and raised in cali and you watch a once great state go in the toilet. You tend to get pissed. I have been here 38 yrs and with out getting to political the politicians are destroying our state along with the epa. So I go against the grain and drive lowered loud old trucks and own tons of guns lol.

I would move tomorrow. I have three kids and we have them in a great school. Plus I have an ex wife so that complicates things a little. Not to mention my wife just wont leave her mother.

Love the truck, you provide inspiration for me to keep working on mine all the time!
BTW...
Prices are cheap in Kansas! LOL I live in the country and everyone has at least 6 acres...
There's a 6 acre lot across from me you could build to suite your needs on!
Neighbors all have guns and most are looking to build large buildings.
Plus... I am building an arsenal to protect the entire neighborhood (Just in case they fall prey).
All I need is a new 50 Cal! Then I can reach out and keep anyone I want at bay.
I'm not paranoid, I call it prepared! LOL

Re: Cheap trick patina 70

Prepared for what exactly? ZGermans?

I'm all for having some guns, but assault rifles and 50 cals? Sounds like Ferguson to me.

That being said...I think a nice double barrel shot would look right at home on that gun rack. The AR looks too new.

No ferguson here... Defense is the key.
I agree on the AK, there is a lot of option to fill the window racks up.
