Looking really good...although I agree with hgs.....I'd do something custom with the corner triangle at this point

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

You could just keep it simple and put a lightening hole and dimple it. It would look nice

Im going to use these from Billet Specialties. It seemed the easiest way and it keeps a mechanical feel to the engine bay with finish bolts. My opinion atleast.

Replace it with a custom piece that has holes. Three of them two sizes. More bondo practice ! Ya know!

i would even have space to put away a simple plastic and ugly washertank batteries fuses and stuff like that between the paneling and the actual fenders and use dimples for a fillerneck or acceshole maibe this will become the new billet.......

as for mounting you might be able to use those snapbuttons they use on some jeans

you only need half of the hardwhare to make them work and might even be able to spotweld them in place
How do you pop it off with out damaging the panel? Assume the panel will be painted? plastic stick?

All right I think the idea of deleting the corner piece and bracing this panel from behind so it can do the job of the corner brace might be the idea I go with

That axle cover looks pretty cool! I like the script idea too. I almost spilled the beans, but saved it.
