Re: Truckseats Photobook
JUST A REMINDER:
I thought I would start a thread of some of our seat covers installed in our customers trucks, blazers, and suburbans. We will also post some pictures of some seat covers not installed yet. I encourage and hope people with our seat covers, interior panels, and headliners will post pictures of their own. I don't get pictures to often of our covers installed so I look forward to seeing them as well. It is very important to me that this thread does not turn into a for sale thread. I would like this to be nothing more that a photobook where we can look at and talk about seat covers. Please feel free to ask me any questions on any of my for sale threads. You may also send me PM's with questions. Thank you. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PM ME FOR ANY QUOTES OR ASK IN MY OTHER FOR SALE THREADS! THANKS GUYS. |

Re: Truckseats Photobook
YEAH, what he said. Im looking for something to replace my worn 77 bench cover. It has some decorative squares in the seatback and havent found anything close anywhere. It is the original though. Do you have another color sample for the 73-87s? Current color is "medium blue" according to glove box code

Re: Truckseats Photobook
Here are a few photos of my seat and my story...
Ordered/paid on May 13. Cover received July 3. Several e-mails sent on status, received one very dalayed response that really made so sense. Seat cover mailed from Truck World in Springfield, MO. Due to the lack of response from Truck Seats and the need for foam, I called Truck World. It turns out that Truck Seats is simply a middle man for Truck World, the actual manufacturer of the seat covers. The seat cover: Unbelievable quality, heavy correct grain vinyl, good color, excellent cloth, taped, top stitched seams. In sort, better than just about any repro cover I have purchased since I started working on/restoring Chevys in 1982. Seat Foam: Due to the lack of response from Truck Seats on completing an order, I ordered seat foam from GMC Paul. Something like $434 shipped to my door. They looked good, but felt soft, but you never know until they are installed. Bought a donor frame and restored it from a wrecking yard--$25. The seat buns were perfect and are actually quite firm. The seat cover fit and installed perfectly. Here is the final result: Aside from the near 2 month delivery time and lack of response from Truck Seats, I couldn't be happier with the result. It is green, but it's a green truck, and as my kids say, "Embrace Gumby Truck's greeness." |

Re: Truckseats Photobook
I received my seat foam, seat cover, carpet, headliner, kick panels, door panel bottoms and door panels all in a timely manner... Everything was absolutely top notch, the seat cover took the longest because it was made to order.. It took several weeks, but he told me that up front. Tim was very responsive and I could not be happier with the quality and customer service.
Juanito, you gotta wait in line on made to order items. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Truckseats Photobook
These seat covers are made to order as well and to be honest we haven't built a whole lot of them yet to be able to provide a picture. We are working hard to be able to offer older and newer covers. Thanks for your understanding.

Re: Truckseats Photobook
I have ordered from Tim twice now. I have had no issues. The covers are top notch and the service was excellent. As far as being a "middleman" for truck world he has stated that earlier in this thread. It's not like its new information. All of the vendors on this site are a middleman in some form. Even GMCPauls. If you have a problem with Tim's service you should post a thread in the reviews section not a thread meant for showcasing the covers.

Re: Truckseats Photobook
I'm not seeing an issue either, I havn't ordered anything yet, but if he told you upfront that it would be several weeks then why the complaint especially when your seat looks FREAKING awesome. I understand getting anxious as i am the same way. I have ordered my rims and tires 3 weeks ago and i am about to go nuts because they are not here. Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are!
