Re: 1969 GMC Pickup

Nice work. Looks better than new.
Talked to my friend Shane today, said we can use the paint booth anytime we need. Also rode in his 2010 SS Camaro with twin turbos. Holy **** scary fast!!!!!!

Re: 1969 GMC Pickup

nice job! My favorite way to smooth out the drip rail (leaving that little recessed area there and not bringing the top skin down---I like it because it keeps the body line at the top of the doors intact all the way around the cab)

That would be sweet! Getting close to needing the cab painted. Does he have a trailer we can borrow to get it over there? Will have to check the Camaro out next time I am there.

This is exactly how I envisioned it looking. I wanted to keep a little of the drip for that reason, too many sheets come together around the doors.

Re: 1969 GMC Pickup

Thank you all for your comments! The intimidating thing is I haven't even touched the bed and have done very little to the frame...so much work, not enough money or time.

Re: 1969 GMC Pickup

Thank you for the words of encouragement. It is going fast considering what I am having to do. Really didn't anticipate going this far but figured I am here. Things are coming together and I am definitely blessed with amazing friends lending a hand and talents and hooking me up with parts. Thank God for them or it wouldn't be this far at all!

Removed the bed this morning, now to start cleaning it up. Still a couple more repairs on the cab and it will be ready for filler and primer...Kyle will be over this week to weld some more.
