72 K20 Custom Deluxe, cab lights, AM/FM, etc. $10K
Note squarebody camper mirrors and appears cab tank relocated or just removed.
Can't post the link for some reason, but if you go to Car Gurus (not CL) and search for '1972 Chevrolet C/K 20' you will find it. Captured pics below. SPID provided by seller.

Sharp truck, really like this one, I'd only change the roof color.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

My favorite thing about it: the wheel/tire combo. Perfect. I would lose the lift though
And I'm a cab light fanatic, for some weird reason. Of course none of my trucks have had them, that's probably why. I like browns, but this one is peeling pretty badly.
Odd, while I like parchment custom cloth (i.e. houndstooth) seats with an ochre truck a LOT, I'm not crazy about he Custom Deluxe parchment seat cover with an ochre truck. I like the Custom Deluxe seat covers in general, a lot in fact, but just not the combo. Pretty cool truck, would love to horde, but no room. Oh, and $10k not just lying around either. If I didn't have ol greenie, I'd be looking much closer at this. I do like it a lot.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Yep, I recall speaking to the owner, I was kinda interested at the time, I tend to like any K20 Custom Camper. Good point - pretty notable price drop.

This is a nice truck. I’d love to make a rollback or a flatbed from it. With it being a fire truck I’d bet it was garaged and loved on. 5k seems cheap to me.

That's cool, but no mention of engine size or a picture of it.

It has to have a bench seat so you can have two people help you shift everything when you drive it... (I have a thing for fire trucks) But seriously, anyone ever tried to register one of these things? I think the medium duty are generally more expensive than a 10-30. C30 rollbacks and stuff are one thing, but this is somewhat mini-semi territory. Am sure it depends where one lives of course. Cool rig, thanks for posting.

Here in Pennsylvania, registration of something that heavy would be ludicrous. My 2500hd pickup costs around 230 a year for registration. But we also have the option of registering something like that as an antique, which is a lifetime registration for around a 100. But if you went that route, you could do longer use it as a "truck".

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

There's also a lot not to like
Oversprayed firewall, 4" rear blocks, probably a tired 350.
Looks like a quick flip
Would like to have seen it before it was played with. I know these trucks are hot right now, but that's no
$15,000 truck, $7-8 maybe
