In regards to this post: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...8&postcount=93

Thanks guys, and good luck w/the sale (if it goes through )

Actually it's not my idea..... it's just a good idea that I saw @ the DFW meet & greet earlier this year.

Boardmember 'dennislbrooks' is the guy w/the answers. I was just the guy w/a camera.

Great attention to detail is what sets the top 10 picks apart from the crowd. Congratulations on a fantastic truck.

Not much else I can help w/so hopefully this info will answer your questions or maybe PM Dennis directly? Good luck & let everyone know what you learn!

Posting the link to that thread here:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=183125

I didn't really get who Dennis was, so now that I know who he is, I've shot him a PM to ask more questions. If I can either get this setup or figure out how to make it, I'll post a FAQ thread on the topic.

Thanks again (again ).

Hey Ken,... Is that truck for sale yet? I would like to see it come back to Missouri! (like in my drive way) What's the chance n2billet will let go of it?

dang... when I started reading the old posts I thought "Why are they doing this to such a sweet plain jane truck?" Then I got to reading the other posts and realized "Hey, that's pretty dang cool." And after a few more pages I was tempted to search for air bag kits for MY truck, but nobody makes one for 4x4s. Maybe I'd better keep it stock.
Anyways I was wondering about the pushrod covers and that valve cover, love that finned look! They'd look great on my 292...

The guy that owns Stoked Out Specialties is "supposed" to be buying it, but I don't think it's carved in stone.

I suggest you send him a PM and make an offer. He has 2-3 more projects waiting their turn so you never know what he might say....

Heres the link to the side covers for a 292

I got the valve cover from Speedway, they where the only ones to have them in stock at the time.

Hope this helps and keep the 6 banger!

What happened to all the pictures everyone is talking about? I see very few pictures on my end. Are they moved or is something wrong with my eyes?

Sounds like a great truck - just wish I could see it - Bob
