Nice ride, very creative!

Question: I know it is some other build somewhere (blah blah, search, yeah I know...) BUT, how hard was it to do that glove box door to gauge cluster mount? It looks really good, and talk about a place where you don't want to mess it up. Any tips?

Just got back. Not much progress, or at least picture worthy progress.

Bought a grille emblem from Tim on Wednesday

Jason made some brackets and got the back seat installed and got lowered an inch

He got the hood lined up and I helped him take it off so he could paint it

I got some bucket seat tracks at a junkyard the other day. Jason may cut them down a little to lower them. Just depends on how high they sit up. Got one out of a extended cab 94 so the passenger side seat adjusts alot farther for the rear passengers to get in.

You are going to want to cut those down unless you like bugs in your teeth from sitting above the windshield.

I see what you mean now about the bottom grill insert (the indentions for the turn signals). Did Woody say whether or not the other grill we had for Project Underhaulin had a bottom grill insert worth using?

I just decided to go with the turn signals in the grille. Much easier then trying to find that piece and we were on a little of a timetable.

He finished up painting today. I'll go by and get some pics in a few.

Is the flat paint a single stage, or does it take a flat clear? Very cool build. I like the color. Very nice work.
