Nice! We're getting pattypan squash the size of your smallest melon out of our "garden". They're best skinned and grilled.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Takes about 10 minutes to load a picture and can’t load more than one to a post

I have the gentleman’s card in my truck he also wants to photograph the 62 Lark he heard me talking to my buddy about needing tires he asked if it was a nice as the truck told him it better and showed him a couple of pictures

He must have taken a few hundred pictures .

If you do "choose file" and "upload" for each picture, you can post all 5 in one post. You can can usually do a couple at a time, but I just do each one separately

I'm glad I triggered that up. Cool 'Stang. Jacked up. Some Pro Stock Eliminators sat up like that, too. What a cool short era in drag racing that was

This is the back of my little barn. I had the materials laying around so I decided to build a short little rail/seat on the platform outside the door. Just a small busywork project. I always liked the cookie cutter designs they used to cut in shutters of little cottage type houses, so whipped up a pine tree design for something different

Yeah, thanks. I wanted to give that side of the barn an alpine cottage vibe. There are huge fir trees looming above. It would be a nice place to sit, and I do for a short while, if my neighbor's house wasn't right behind there. I can find times when they won't be coming outside

nothing unmanly about hobbies or doing artwork. It's a shame to see a corporate hobby supply out buying up our truck parts to sell for uses other than bolting on a truck.

I've been taking pictures of old barns lately. There are hundreds if not thousands around here. This is a neat little one I got yesterday on my drive between two produce markets. It's nice to buy groceries, at least some, off the farm

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Another one of our "new normal" summer mornings. Smoke from wildfires clouding the sky. When I rolled out the door at 0430 the smell of smoke was the first thing I noticed. It's been the same story for the last 5 or so years now. The two photos were taken 10 minutes apart. As the sun burned through the clouds.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Cool pics with the bridge and tug.
It seems many of us are noticing the effects of all of the smoke. First year for us it seems in MI to have the smoke effect on sunsets. Spent the last 10 days on the west side of the state and the first pic with my son shows what most sunsets have looked like this year....blurry. Hopefully it doesn't become our new normal.

Was nice to have a pretty clear one a couple nights ago though shown in the second pic.
