Finished blasting and shot a coat of primer on the floor.... Was in the zone and didn't think to snap a shot in bare metal... Also received a set of 4" skyjacker lift springs to eliminate the lift blocks.

Trimmed and fit a windshield frame. Hopefully get it welded in tomorrow. I had been dreading this, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Thanks, I have a long way to go... hows your's going?

The bad news is I didn't have time to weld it in today, the good news is I was able to use the shorter frame I had so I still have another windshield frame I can sell to help someone else get theirs done! Silver linings all around.

Whats up with that color change from green to tan, lighting make that big of a difference?

Probably the old sony camera I use! I think it flashed on the last pic but not the first (later in the day) It is green, not tan.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

Blasted and primed the frame... Trying to choose what to top coat it with. I might try some thinned down bed liner sprayed on with an hvlp gun with 2.0 tip for the top coat.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?

I got tired of the Blazer Hedman's scraping the ground, ended up with exhaust leak so I got some Chevelle Hedman headers. They're thicker and pretty nice looking. Didn't use the gaskets that came with though. Also swapped out both cross members with cut-out cross members from CPP. Plenty of clearance now.

Broda, you need to show more pics of this blazer, it's really nice. Did you buy the 67-68 trim from Mar-K? How did you install it? I have it but I'm far from paint so it will be 1 to 13 years before I get it on...

I got mine from Mar-K, it was just perfect. I measured twice or three times and drilled once. Scary but it worked out great. They make such a great product.
