Big Dawg did'nt like the little wolfy. He was pissed. Wolf doid'nt seem to worried. Seemed like it would have been to easy to shoot him. Guess I'm the only elk hunter in Idaho that doesnt hate woofs.

I've seen a pack up hunting in the Sawtooths around 2003, they ran all the elk out of a place I hunted over 25 years. Here is a couple of photos of my dog paying with a friends 3/4 female wolf hybrid. Murphy is 70#, Misha is around 125 or so. They both play very hard together. She is very gentle and good around kids. Murphy obviously is not intimidated by her. He is a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, its a cattle herding breed that is real "mouthy".

I'm on the fence about the reintroduction, hope that with the hunting they will get afraid of men and leave the ranchers alone. My sister says decendents of the Idaho packs are showing up outside of Bend, Oregon. There have been sitings in the Foothills around Boise too. I do not mind them, just don't like what they did to upset the balance. All of the Elk where I hunted moved first over the hill to Grandjean/South Fork Payette drainage, then into Boise drainage as the wolves followed them.

I think you are too. I have even heard people that have said that they have seen them in the Wasatch Range in northern Utah.

And they will eventually move south into N. AZ and over into N. NM. I have heard they are showing up in southern central Oregon too, so N. CA is next too.

Next they'll be letting the bision out of Yellowstone. We're all doomed. Whats funny is I saw a wolf in Island park 35 years ago.

Ya its 50. Feel better now than I did when I was 40. Old dwags rule. Can do most things better than I ever did. Just takes longer to heal.
