Looks awesome.

I would love to see the 'how to' if you write one. Have you decided on how you are going to do the door handles? or are you going to be shaving the handles? or...?

Excellent job!

Here is some pics of the re-enforcing I did to the B pillar to support the door. The horizontal bars not only help with support but will also hold the cover board. I will cover a kick panel type board in material then attach covering all the hinges, and supports.

The more I look at it.... the plate doesn't look neccessary, not with that much bracing to the back of the cab. I may copy you on that.

I did'nt think of plating the back, that would have made it bullet proof. This is pretty stout though, after I braced it and swung it there was no flexing at all.

door flex

I sent you a pm, but got no answer... so I'll ask ya here. What did you do to brace the inner door skin? Mine was flexing and I welded a piece of 3/8" x 1 1/2 flat bar between the hinges but I don't like it (and will be redoing it this weekend). I also added a piece of sheet below the bottom hinge. My channels are longer than yours... you may not of had any door flex??

Sorry have'nt checked my pm's in a while.
I'm on the same page as you are. I added the bar where you did, and the one I labeled #1. I still have a little flex so I think I will add the bar labeled #2. Sorry can't be much more help. Been side tracked trying to buy a new house and stuff, so have'nt really touched the truck.
