I've always liked that style of wheel.

Those are Fiske wheels. Jim Fikse used to work for me before he went into the wheel business. They are very light but ultra strong racing wheels designed primarily for sports car road racing. BMW team and others use them. Jim puts them through all the SAE life tests and they are precision balanced for 200+ mph operation. Just what I need on my flatbed with 5.14 gears...LOL. BTW he will make them in whatever off-set you want.

If we don't hear from Craig I will call him and find out where the seats came from.

The tribal flames come with a complementary Ghost Rider! Little known fact that ghost flames come with Tribal Rider. Cannot get both it is an either or thing.

The seat in my '67 chevy truck is out of an 88 chev. ext. cab. I had it recovered by Marks Custom uphostery in Auburn WA.

The 690 hp was created using a 1971 400 block 3.875 stroke 4340 crank eagle steel rods cp pistons 9.0 to 1 compression roller cam specs 235/245 duration at .050 and 600 lift the heads are brodix track 1's fully ported they have 2.05 I and 1.625 E valves it has a RPM air gap intake the boost is created with a D1sc procharger with 7 psi of boost it made 690 hp at 5600 RPM 700 FT lbs at 5100 and it does it on pump gas!!!

Hi Craig, welcome to the message board. I believe it was said when you lowered the top, you took 1 inch from the from the front and 3/4 inch from the rear. Is this right and what was your reasoning for those amounts?

BTW, beautiful truck indeed!

Craig, Welcome. Great to have you on board. How was the Good Guys Show in Spokane? A couple of the board members were there looking for your truck...it's a beautiful ride! There was also a question about the door panels as well.

I would like to know about the gas fill door...very nice!

the top is chopped 2inches in the front and 1.5inches in the rear the reson for that is if you chop these trucks the same all the way around the roof looks too low in the rear so I did the front and adjusted the rear hight until the side glass top and bottom were parallel that just happened to be 1.5 inches

the door panels I fabed using aluminum covered with foam and material the speaker pods and the arm rests I carved out of wood and covered

The gas filler door I made a template of the shape from 1/4 plywood I used a plasma cutter to cut the hole I welded a flange around the door and and on the box side then I fabed a hinge to make it swing I used a magnetic cabnet latch to hold it closed

good guys in spokane was good there were about 1600 cars we drove over got 10 miles per gal at 80 MPH it was a smooth trip
