Silver Sport Transmissions bought Keisler. I bought my shifter relocation kit from them a couple weeks ago.

Nice truck. I used to live in Magnolia and now am in Katy. I like your Ktm in the background and it looks like you have some race numbers on it. What do you race? I have a few Kim's in my garage also. Maybe our paths will cross and we can share similar stories. Keep up,the good work on your project.

Cool. I don't mean to drift off subject to far but which series is he racing. I to race hare scrambles in the A class but it has been awhile. Is the truck you are building in cypress or magnolia?

It might be fun to ride my street bike over to check it out and of course you would be welcome to visit my place and see all my junk

Very nice build. I have the same tranny in my truck and absolutely love it. The color of your truck looks similar to a new BMW color - is that what it is?

Definitely cam that LS motor while it's easy. I put a 2007 LS-2 in my 67 Chevelle and could not bring myself to open up a brand new crate motor. Well, for 8,000 miles I missed that idle and sound of a bad *ss motor. Ran plenty good but didn't have the sound. About 3 months ago I finally tore into her and put a Tick Performance SNS Stage 3 cam in it and LOVE IT.
Wish I had of done it when it was easy to get to like yours is now.
Do it. You will not regret it.
P.S. I also have a T-56 in my Chevelle. Love it too.

Re: 67swb/ls1/t56 build

The color is close to the factory color "medium poly green" but with more metallic and a shade lighter. And as for the cam Im pretty certain Im gona pull the trigger on the Texas Speed MS3.

The old Kaiser company went broke.

It sold and has reopened as Silver Sport Transmissions

Engine bay is looking good!

What shifter are you using? I've about talked myself into a t56 and would love to have the old style Hurst Shifter.

It will have the trim on the grill and of course chrome bumpers. Other than that is will be smooth with minimal bling.
