Re: Before and after... what do y'all think??

I think that cover was too modern looking for the style of your truck. Liked your truck a lot before, like it even more now.

Next week the inside of the bed and top of bedcaps where the paint wore off from the bed cover will be painted orange.
I'm pretty happy with the results.
Wow looks great!

Re: Before and after... what do y'all think??

I like the look of this truck, and the removal of the cover and blocks are a great improvement. I am a sucker for the stock look on a c20.

I am not however crazy about the looks of a spray in bed liner on these old trucks. I know it makes the bed more "usable" but they always fail for me in the looks department, especially on a truck with a original restored theme. A body colored liner might look better, but a stock painted bed with a heavy rubber mat would be my preference.

I am currently looking for a new truck and have passed on a bunch that had spray in bed liners in them. No sir, I don't like them! FWIW

I hear ya on that. I'm hoping the painting it over orange will make it blend somewhat. Right now I don't have the $$$ to do anything else. Somewhere down the line I may lay a wood bed over it.

Great looking truck. The spray in doesn't bother me at all.

Re: Before and after... what do y'all think??

I normally hate bed covers (says the guy that added one to his brand new Z71), but yours actually looked really good on the truck (the color match really helped.

I honestly like how it looks either way. Little cooler without it.

Nice truck. I tried to pm you, but you've "reached your quota and can't receive any more pm's until you've deleted some". Just thought I'd let you know.

Not that it looked bad before but it looks much better now. As CG said, I just don't think bed covers work on these trucks. No offense to those who have them.

Re: Before and after... what do y'all think??

I didn't mind the bed before. I'm sure it will look nice color matched.
I will be lining my bed as it will get used all the time and I like the look, plus the body color will be a dark blue so it will blend in some.

nice truck
