Dont know about how 'American' the ARE TT's are..... I seem to recall seeing that they were made over-seas as well (I remember reading it somewhere).

The way I have it calculated the coys should fir perfect without a spacer in the rear.
What are you going to do with your old spacers/adaptors? I need some for the rear of my truck

Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels

I read a post not to long ago from a board member who said his Coy wheels didn't fit or something. Maybe someone else remembers. He was filing the holes in order to get them to fit. I am considering Coy's but got a little concerned after I read it. Did you test fit them yet? Any problems?

Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels

17x8 4 inch bs 18x8 4inch bs i originally ordered cragar ss for my 67 from them off of ebay and ended up cragar discontinued them in 17s in 5x5 pattern. After a few months of waiting and meeting them at the pomona swapmeet they offered me these at a discounted rate. They did have some other five lug cragars ss rims redrilled with inserts to get me by never mounted them didnt want to go through the hassle of mounting and dismounting rims. Its a family owned business from what i remembered three brothers and father. If i remember correctly David was the easiest one to deal with. Not that the others are bad it just seems he get things done. Didnt really care for they way the looked on my 67 , so when my grandfather passed i inherited his 87 lowered allready. He was a 82 year old lowrider from way back. When i got the truck it had 15 x 8 car ralleys that i swapped to my 67 just seem to fit better. ANYWAY sorry didnt mean to hi jack post just my 2 cents . Oh the way the hidden valve stem set up is cool and the chrome holds up pretty good, over one year and still look good. cheers.

Sorry Cheyenne402 I must have missed your question. I still have the spacers and do not need them. PM me and we can figure out the details.

Not yet.... the truck is down to the frame for paint. Three or four months and it should be ready for the road.

Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels

I am thinking very tough about a set of 18" frt and 20" rear OR 20" frt and rear with the grey centers for mine. They look like a quality built wheel. I will have more time to check them out before Im ready and read more reviews on them.

gringoloco blazer has had me looking deep into these.

I almost did they grey centers and still kind of wonder if I should have. I finally chose chrome because they are easy to clean.

Hey... my truck is a 30 footer but in a pic it looks like it's off the showroom floor.

There's a local guy that has a '68 that looks identical to your truck. Any progress photos of your build?

Re: Finally got them -- Coys C5 wheels

Well not exactly. It is now a rolling chassis that is clean and ready for POR15. Patch panels are ordered and should be here next week. My paint guy is pretty fast once he starts. The steering, brakes, suspension and rear end were completed before disassembly. Moast of the major components are here and ready for install as soon as paint is done. Engine, trans, trans controller, all new wire harnesses, Instrument cluster, tires and wheels.
