Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

It has the original bumper. Maybe it’s hard to see in the photo or maybe you had something else in mind? And how dare you badmouth my cady tail lights.

Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

I dig the Caddy lights. I run a '70 Caddy steering wheel and column myself. Edit: BTW Forrest, have you checked out the build thread by Markeb01 It's a hot rod style stepside, but sooo freaking cool. He has Caddy tailights too.

O yes I have seen it. But it has been a long time. I have always wanted to use the Cadillac tail lights and when I saw his it inspired me.

Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

I read his build from start to finish while staying home. He inspired my Covid Dash Project. The guy certainly has a gift for documentation.

Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

I think the stepsides look better if they are lifted with tall skinny tires. But if a truck is lowered, I do think the fleetsides look better

The tailgate letters are cooler than a fleetside

I don't know...
I think this one looks pretty good from any angle.

Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

Apparently lots of folks here think your truck is sweet from any angle Forest, last i checked you were a strong contender for Truck O' the Month.

Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

One thing I really like about a stepside (60-66) anyway is because they still have the old truck look, and the fenders have some style to them.

Re: Only good looking from 2 angles.

I am a fan of fleetside for sure, BUT a stepper done right, good slight rake, have that kinda cool sinister evil look, but in a good way to them. I also would prefer the stepper to have really nice contrasting color wood bed.
But as another mentioned earlier, the nice thing with these trucks, you can order a new bed online and with some time and effort you can change it over to a fleetside and if you choose to, you could sell the stepper bed, or keep it for the odd months.... lol just an idea.
looks good either way though!
