Re: Let's see 18" & 20" wheel combo's.

Actually they arent all the same. Some are American TT II's and some are Coys...

One thing you should ask when considering this combo is what does it look like at ride height? They look good dropped, but not as good when raised up to drive.

I agree on the ride height and looks. With my 5" ride height I am going to be low at ride height. I should be about where this one is @ ride height and that will look ok in my book but what do yall think?

Re: Let's see 18" & 20" wheel combo's.

Here is mine at ride height... I think it still looks good.. I am runing a taller tire though which doesnt let it get down as much in the front but it still sits with a little rake when dropped with the c-notch in the rear...

Re: Let's see 18" & 20" wheel combo's.

i just noticed the highlander seat cover on the baby blue truck on gringo's first post, i like. i want to 18/20 route on my truck when i get rich and famous. all these trucks look sweet, but i do want to do something different than the torque thrust look. i love them, but there are a lot of them out there.

Re: Let's see 18" & 20" wheel combo's.

I am looking to buy wheels and tires for my 72 shortwide very soon and was pondering whether to put the 18/20 combo on or not. I think they look pretty darn good.

Frizzle fry- do you know the drop stance of the dark colored (green or black) truck in the picts you posted?? Just trying to get my chassis done for the show in feb. Thanks

Any other infor as far as tire size and backspacing would be great!!!

All these pics looks sweet. Good to know what the 18/20 combo looks like. I cheaped out and did 15 rallys all the way around, def works for now.

I'm not a big fan of the 18/20 combo, (I prefer the wheels to be the same diameter) BUT - here's some of the best looking trucks I've ever seen with that combo.

Rods & Restos .... Contact is Neil Lea.... 256-927-2199... tell him Kade gave you his #.... he should be able to beat about any price out there depending on what brand of wheel you are looking for. He is a dealer for American Racing, Billet Specialties, Schott, Budnik, etc... now if you are wanting a low grade wheel like a kmc or eagle alloys he can't help.
