I had the same problem when running 3in drop spindles with 15 in wheels. Ended up having to trim the control arms to clear the wheels. If I could do it again I would have either went with larger wheels or 2.5 in spindles with 1.5in coils in the front.

They (whoever you got the drop kit or rotors from)should be able to tell you but many drop kits and rotor upgrades require 16 inch wheels from what I have read. No experience with it just it always kept me from upgrading cause i didnt want to add an additional 1000-1500 for wheels and tires.

This is why I would never buy anything with fresh paint , A friend of mine wanted a c10 we were at a car show in tn I found him a solid truck there for sale but found a fresh painted one and let the solid one go and bought the shiny one LOL that was a few years ago ,, I've never asked him but I bet he wish's he would have bought the solid one ! Good luck on your build they can all be fixed if you have the cash to pour over them ,,,,

New guy here that would like a quick summary of how you did the roof repair. What is the grey insulating type material? And is the black material POR-15 or something similar? I have this nightmare about the '69 I just bought that might need the same repair. Can you kinda' walk me through it? Thanks..............

The roof repair is still somewhat on going. I took the top outer roof off to repair the inner. I have the new outer roof i haven't sealed on yet. Once I got the inner roof sand and prep to where I liked it. I put a coat of the POR 15 on it according to the manufacturer directions.
After several days I came back ad utilized Peel and Seal which I picked up from Lowe's. It came recommended by old mechanic to block some heat as well as some noise. Works great for what I'm trying to accomplish. I will soon be putting the outer roof on when the weather gets better.

I got the new wheels and tires back today. They certainly correct the suspension problem. They look pretty nice if I say so myself.
I went with 18" American Racing VN805. Front 255 55 and Rear 275 55. Going for a staggered fit, Which is somewhat hard to do with 18" tires for trucks.

Need help with the roof repair. I was just not able to save the passenger side pillar above the door. In need of a donor. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
