Re: 1 piece windows

haven't driven it yet ( I know ! I should be drivin the wheels off of it ),so I am not sure about the wind noise. The glass goes completely into the felt channels so I don't think it is going to be an issue with noise.

Re: 1 piece windows

wow that is nice, I like those rubber seals, mine still are a bit short in my opinion. They dont completly touch the glass the full length of them but mine is done so I dont have reason to purchase new stuff and cant afford to do it just to do it...
looking good.

Re: 1 piece windows

The felt/window rubber looks like it's a better fit than the brothers kit. I wonder if you can get that seperate?

BTW, looks awesome!

Re: 1 piece windows

whatnow123,
I have the supplier name and part number for the wiper/felts at my office.
I will post it for you guys in the morning. It comes in a 96" long piece and you just cut to length ( these glue in with BLACK 3M weatherstrip adhesive ). Any autoglass supplier should be able to get them for you. I'll post the info in the morning.

Re: 1 piece windows

John,
not bad to install (just requires some liquid "ADULT" beverages to help you stay focused and cool ). Seriously it is not difficult at all, just take yuor time when you install it, you'll be fine.

Re: 1 piece windows

Just got mine back from the shop. I can tell you it's real quiet with the windows up (especially considering how bad my wing vents whistled).

Here's a couple pics (door open with window down)

The one thing I can tell you is the doors open almost 90 degrees and are probably less then 1/8 from touching the fenders when fully open.... some care needed not to just fling it open or let the wind take it.

Re: 1 piece windows

Looks good Mondo !!!!! He is supposed to be sending out the new style door checks ( if your is like mine they hook over the door hinge, and the new style bolts to the hinge and appears to be better ) the old style still lets the doors open to far.

The info for the window felt is:

CR Laurence
800-241-6144
Part Number YMR256X96
www.crlaurence.com
Hope this helps
