For the record the guy on the pirate thread did box his frame. I will be doing mine also. I guess we see things differently.

why do jeep wranglers and other new trucks have fully boxed frames. what about just bringing say a 1 1/2 or so leg down from the top of the fame and mabey a 1 1/2 from the bottom. i realize this isnt the same as boxing the frame but of you added a coupe of short section of fully boxed in those flexy area and some crossmembers. i would think that with a good cage would be plenty and coating the inside would still be possible.
