Re: 2014 Southeastern Truck Nationals ALL Chevy/GMC Show
Hi Bryan. As of right now, I'll be there in the '72 GMC. Between now and July it should be a reliable daily driver. I'm really looking forward to seeing y'all. Been way too long.
George

Re: 2014 Southeastern Truck Nationals ALL Chevy/GMC Show
I may come to this either hauling my truck or just as a spectator. I doubt my ol C10 would make it that far. It looks to be a great event! Keep us updated on what hotel deals come about...

I am interested in coming and selling my t-shirts. Is the vendor price the same as the swap meet price?

If you go down early there are a couple good cruise ins on Friday night. We went to one when we were down at the show a couple years ago but was told the one down in Murfeesboro on Friday night was close to 1000 cars. We stayed at the hotel there in town that was the host hotel last time and he is trying to get a special rate again. It was a nice hotel at a great rate and had a great breakfast included. I plan on staying there again and hope Bryan can get us a special rate like before.

Re: 2014 Southeastern Truck Nationals ALL Chevy/GMC Show
Todd,
We will probably leave Thursday morning and make it a "family" vacation since we don't take many of those, lol. Sunday morning sounds good, the family can sleep while we cruise home. I will probably pick your brain for some detailed insight on the happenings so I make sure I take enough merchandise with us to make it worth our while. |

Re: 2014 Southeastern Truck Nationals ALL Chevy/GMC Show
Okay fellas, I finally was able to catch up with the hotel manager at the Best Western Plus. It's the hotel we've always used in the past, but they have new owners.
I was able to get an $80 a night plus tax rate for July 18-20. 404 Hester Dr, White House, TN 37188 (615) 672-3993 Here is a link to the hotel on TripAdvisor. It's a very nice hotel and all the guys that have stayed here in the past have enjoyed it. They do allow pets, which is new because the old owners did not allow animals. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...Tennessee.html Holly, the manager, was going to draw me up a contract and give us a certain rate that we will have until a certain date. After that the rate will obviously increase. She said she will send me something in the morning.

Heck definitely thinking about coming and bringing the wife and kids. Thinking my brother and old man are coming too. Having never been to this show first question comes to mind is it family friendly got a two year old and 6 month old. So I may have to bring the wide track jogging stroller to make it easy on my back and arm lol

Re: 2014 Southeastern Truck Nationals ALL Chevy/GMC Show
There's a couple of playgrounds for kids to play on there at the park. I assume you're eluding to bikini contests and music competitions full of guys who aren't smart enough to correctly operate a belt. This isn't that type of show.
