A little interior work. Bought some material at a fabric joint and had Tucson seat cover do the seat and door panels off a sketch I drew. They came out awesome.

And a little bling. Had to tap the bottom of the door with a hammer to make some clearance, the rocker plates rubbed a little. The passenger door had plenty of clearance.

Very nice truck!! Man, that was a great thing you did by giving the bed away. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your parts? Also, is the radiator a Cool Craft? It looks just like the one I put in my '69. The shroud is the same also except I'm running one 16" fan. Keep them pictures coming & keep up the great work!

I order all most of my stuff from a place in Tucson called Desert Musclecar, the radiator is from USA Radiator corporation. It was a nice set up and came already put together. I still get bits and pieces from LMC and Brothers. Most of the stuff in town is the usual so not too much to pick from people.

I have used LMC & Brother's with great luck. John at Brother's is a super nice feller & he is one of our members & Vendor. You're doing a great job!

It's good hear comments from you guys. I wish I had a shop to do more of this stuff myself. I see the work some of you guys do and I'm just amazed. I could do it but just don't have the facilities or tools yet. When i'm done with the truck I'm gonna pick up another project to from the ground up.

More work today. Got the fenders and door panels on. Put in my new 3-point seat belts. Got all the marker and tail lights installed, they all still work thankfully.

Anyone got a workaround for the compressor mount for either Classic Autoair or Vintage Air compressors? I have Hooker headers and it doesn't look like I'll be able to mount the compressor where they say to mount it. The front pipe bends back right over the third bolt where the mount is supposed to bolt on. I've got them sending me a high mount bracket but don't really want to mount it there. The only other option I see is buying a different set of headers, mine or only 6 months old!

Anyway, here's my instrument panel. I painted the inside of the gauge cowls black to take away some of the cheesy chrome. I think it looks pretty good.

Actually it's a 71' Mustang convertable that belongs to my buddy, he's been dragging his feet for awhile. I'm thinking about a 69-71 Chevelle. I NEED MY GRILL!

Well, still haven't lowered it yet. But I got my grill in and we put it on tonight. Those things aren't as easy as they look. We bolted in the brackets first then shot the rivets. Not so sure that was the easiest way but it worked out good. Had to do some wrestling and even used a c-clamp once but we managed to get all the rivets shot. Here's a few pics.

Almost forgot, sprayed the rhino liner in the bed as well. I plan on actually USING the truck so I didn't bother straightening it out. I figured black rhino liner would go with the paint but I could use it without worrying about dinging up a pretty bed. Wood was out of the question for me. You'll see my quad sitting in the back plenty.

Finally home. Got the wheels on, lookin good. I'm so happy with the results. Just gotta sit him down a little and the outside work will be done. Gonna start installing the A/C system tomorrow and go for a little ride. Hope you guys approve!
