Re: My new blue machine!

Great deal on an excellant find. The ol`diamond in the rough.My`71 CustomCamper/20 was just like yours(except it wasn`t a Longhorn and it was Ochre). It was a`71 early build with the CustomSportTruck option listed,CustomCamper/20 nameplates, and was actually a Cheyenne without any mention of it:woodgrain belt moulding, tailgaye band, carpet, seat, and headliner."Experts" around the country scoffed it off as not real.Bought by me in`88 from original owner, parted in`04,and still had original paint, etc.
Once again,COOL FIND!!

Re: My new blue machine!

a whole bunch, but not nearly as many as there once was.
There is no tellin how many are out there, and they were just shy of common back in the day.

But congrats and Merry Christmas, Doug. And say, isn't that truck a little bad on the rust? Either way, good find, I'd love that for 250 bucks (240, actually, since the lady gave you 10 bucks to clean that back end out )
