^ RP trans fluid is a PITA to read on a stick it has so little color to it, other wise good stuff. [$80 5gal jug from summit but ill use redline next time for the standard red color]

If your filter sits upright like mine does, it's always full of oil anyway.... I don't see how an anti-drainback valve would make any difference.

Brad penn is the way to go in older automobiles. It still has enough zinc to lubricate the older engines properly. The newer oil (any brand) is made for newer cars (80- up) with tighter tolerances/better bearing etc. my 2 cents

rash of new break in oil is the loop hole around that, they just make oil the good way, say its only for a one time use to make the EPA happy and wink wink nod nod, you can use it all the time just don't ask, don't tell
