72c20 Have not had any deals with them, or heard any thing bad, but you may try "The Heads House Cylinder Head Exchange" not far out 278 west from Cullman. 256-739-4630 Think they have been there for 5 - 10 years.

Bestchecvyfan From What the PO of my daily Driver told me it was from Huntsville. Usually head up that way once or twice a month. Either shopping or just to go to OutBack for a steak.

fast71 Drove the burb for the test drive, about 2 miles, and Deb drove it to my house about 30 miles after I got it. Only thing she complained about was the rear view mirror was not mounted. Glued the window mount on, So I guess its road ready. Needs a little work in the rockers and the rear gates, but I have the gates from the parts sub and there the same color, so should just be a bolt on for that.

Kingparts Did not try to hit her and was on the brake trying not to. Only bumped one person that was not a accident, and that was when me and Deb came up on Tim and sandwiched him. And it was not planned, just that he got cheated and had one of the slow cars, and was in the right place in a straight part of the track. Kind of hard to resist, and I bet he would have done the same to me.

Always good to meet a few Chevy truck fans.

I knew there had to be a few more for Alabama. Will put this on the B meets site also.
I know this is the same weekend as the board meet, but you don't go and want to get a few trucks together in Alabama, I'm planning on taking the longhorn or the burb to this show. Neither are show quality, but in decent original condition and are body styles not seen very often. Show had 900 to 1000 entries last year, and a chance on the prizes is worth the $20 show fee.

First link is to Hemmings info on the show, 2nd is the flyer with a more info from the host site, pdf file for adobe.

Hey Neighbor! Just up the road from you in Athens!

I am in Cullman quite often, as it is part of my territory. I would love to meet up with you one day, have some lunch and compare "war stories." I would also like to see that "collection" of yours in person!

Look forward to meeting you!

BTW: I attend the UAW Show at the Delphi plant EVERY year! Last year I took my younger brothers Orange and White 72 4x4 and displayed it ... he was trying to sell it .... you guys might have seen it. To make a long story short .... lots of lookers and tire-kickers at the show ... but it didnt sell. He did finally sell it on Ebay ... and it ended up going to Oregon or Washington ... all the way across the dang continent!

Anywhoo .... we all need to set up a time and meet this year ... how about it?

Shane, that truck looks identical to a truck I saw in NW Alabama back in January. I was trailering 2_ 68-72 cabs back from Jock in Sneed AL, where I let JQ-72 in Killen have one of them to make room on the trailer for the 9 foot stepside bed he had for sale.

Anyway, I was coming up 157 toward Florence and stopped for gas near Langtown (just before 101 north to go up past Wheeler Dam). This guy stops and asks me if I'm interested in buying a 72 4X4 short bed. Of course I had to look at it, and he just got it done painted. He pulled it out of a one stall garage and it looked just like that one of your brothers. Now don't tell me that I met your brother and haven't met you yet He was only asking $5000 at the time, but I had O'Reb (71 GMC short step 4X4) and just got the mean green machine (72_C30_9 foot step).

I'm about 20 mile from Sneed AL and go though there once a month or so, When I first started reading your post I thought how did I miss not seeing a trailer full of chevy parts.
If you make it back this way let me know...

#6 looks like the long lost younger twin of my truck! If I used some parts off of that one (keep it in the family- so to speak) No Tennessee or Alabama jokes, thank you!
