I didn't know these trucks came with airbags

Lots of people don't like the bed due to the wheel arches. I think it looks ok, but it's not for me. IF you could put the wheel arch in AND elimiate the rear step area, I think that would look pretty cool.

I'd like to see some more information on those airbags. Are they original OEM equipment, or dealer installed?

don't forget the most important part of building a truck-IT'S YOURS!!!!!!

I'm guilty of making decisions that maybe I should have waited on, but wanted to get the truck on the road and enjoy it.

Rob,how about brunnette(standard size bags).
I wunder what a Stepside bed on an 88-98 would look like for a retro throw-back look, vintage wheels and other Qs.

Someone with better PS skills than me is going to have to tackle that one. The idea sounds cool.

Hey Mike, where did you get the fill panel to shave the rear step? Do you have to buy the roll pan too. I already have a roll pan and fill rear lights.

Re: Pics of Z71 Bed on 67-72

I considerd this once back in the late 90's when I was fix'n up
Blacky, which I later sold, East Coast Customs used to sell a
rear shave kit for these beds, it included a roll pan and 2 filler
panels to remove the rear step, alla Dually look from the rear

I guess I should have read all the way through page 2

PS - I know where a almost perfect stepside bed is sitting
