Re: well..i'll be donked

The big rims("24" or better) are for show. Nobody really uses them as daily drivers, so ride comfort isn't really important. You know, it's cool for cruises, car shows, parades, and stuff of that nature. The big boys aren't for everybody. In the future I hope to try some 20 or 22's wrapped with all terrains. Something along these lines.

have to agree. not trying to get down on people or anything but that kinda talking is ........ well i will keep that to myself. Also the first truck looks really sharp if it had smaller wheels and more tire. and the second truck the one that was on ebay the brown one... that one needs to be bashed. I am sorry i am with russ looks like absolute crap. it looks to me like it is lifted to just to fit the rims. and besides that the truck is stock looking. for me 22's are really pushing it but when big wheels are done with tast like N@truxs or N2billet or abounch of other mebers it looks fine but those 28's look like a hack job. This is my opinon and i am not trying to offend anyone it is just what i think. i am one of the younger guys on here too and just can not get into these bigger wheels.

ahh well they are still nice truks regardless. and i gotta say i do like the one 84 posted up but i would go smaller to get more tire in that situation. still thll looks nice as do many other 22 and under wheels for me though i max out at 18's

Re: well..i'll be donked

That is a nice truck but I just can't like the wheel and tire combo. I've layed alot of tile in my life but I have never seen a driveway done before. If that is in Washington State I would give it a couple years before it starts coming up. Just depends on how and what it was put down with.

Re: well..i'll be donked

OMG just keep the trucks and get rid of those rims. wtf r they thinkin.. i hate how people do that these days they get a BIG LIFTED truck and put like 24in rims that cost like 5K and then some lil thin sideall tires on it i think its just ugly. or like those trucks all restored nicely and ruin it by putting 22' or w/e just needs some nice american racing wheels on it ith some nice tires and your set.

Re: well..i'll be donked

it is nice to see some opions being expresssed on this one. i think most of us agree that the first truck just does not have enough tire with the rim. while it seems that it is split between those who like more rim and those who don't we can all agree there is a limit. coool thread

Re: well..i'll be donked

yea the tile definietly wouldnt work here- although big pimpin-.. it would get covered with ice then the nice truck would slide across the nice tile and into the *now* NOT-nice garage door...

Re: well..i'll be donked

The only thing 20's or 22's should be on a chevy with 2.5ton rockwells with 49"+ Military Michelins.
