Re: How many 4x4's do we have here?

Here's mine! 1970 K/20 Suburban, I'm the third owner. The original owner lived about 20 miles away and bought it new in '70 and always garaged it. The second owner did an OK job of taking care of it, except they removed the original 350 and put the 454 gas chugger in it. They did re-use the original 4bbl air cleaner, and the carb to air cleaner spacer with breather hose. They also replaced the original split rims with the ones that were on it in the pics. The top metal radiator hose is gone also. Anyway the 454 is out of a '77 GMC dually, it has the original TH350 auto and NP205 t-case. Also hase the original D44 front and Eaton HO52 rear with 4.10 gears. Those are old pics, that's when it had those 16.5x8.25 steel slot rims with 8.75-16.5 tires. Now it's at my Great Uncle's house sitting on 33x12.50's mounted on 16.5x9.75 steel wheels. It runs(loud ) and drives, but it needs the oil and filter changed, gear oil changed in the axles and t-case, all new rubber brake hoses, complete set of auto tranny shift linkage, and new hub selector knobs. I plan on putting a 6 inch all spring lift on it with 35's, but that'll have to wait for awhile.
