lets be realistic here... any fix to get that sucker to move, without a trip to the machine shop... is a hillbilly back yard fix.

Unless that motor is cracked somewhere which you won't know till you get it mag'ged then it will certainly come back. Just do what was suggested to lube it up and break it loose. Take it apart, get it machined, new parts, reassembly and you got yourself one bad motor. That has an 8 inch balancer on it so it is probably a four bolt motor

It sound s like she's a cummin along just as I would cpect!! Tis a Chevy and thats wgat counts the most so shill run gin!!!!
