better check first if they dont have one of those dipstick oilsuckers before leaving the truck ......... it is a good idea actually to have those guys wressle with it .
there prolly the one who thighten it that way to start with

I love that movie. (It's actually in the movie "Tommy Boy" btw. I can see how you would get them confused, very similar.) I've seen it a hundred times. That part is funny, but I hate to see that nice GTO get torn to shreds. Ouch.

I have the same thing and they work great. The only thing is you will want to use a short socket so you can put presser on them while turning.

I've already done quite a bit of grinding on the bolt head. Do you still think these will work? The pic I posted doesn't really show it well. I don't want to buy them unless I know they'd work. I know they'd come in handy in the future, but there are some other tools I need worse and I don't have an unlimited budget right now.

Ok, the Craftsman bolt out did the trick. I did have to do some extra grinding with the dremel to get it to work, but it's out. thanks for the help.

prolly like crude oil by now , might be a good idea to flush the bad stuff out with a cheap batch of oil and oilfilter take a long trip and chainge the oil again

The oil didn't look as bad as I thought it might. I put some cheap stuff in it for now. It's not getting driven hardly any right now.

here is a link to the tool I used. if you go to the actual store you can buy a smaller set for $20 which is what I did since I had something to exchange anyway. There is another brand that has the same type stuff. Can't remember the brand but they sell it at Auto Zone and Advance Auto. Blue and yellow packaging. After looking at them, I think I like the other brand better. The ones I got don't fit a socket wrench (which is stupid in my opinion), but I didn't realize that until I got them home and like I said they really didn't cost me anything after I exchanged a christmas gift.
