Re: Want to go 1 ton

Anybody got advice on gear ratios for this type of setup? Getting ready to maybe order axles, and need to decide on what ratio to go with. I know it depends on what kind of usesage your going for, bur sure could use some advice. I think I like the powerloc setup for my app, so far, but not sure. Thank's guy's!

For 39.5" tires i would run 4.88 or 5.13 gears. Anything larger than 40" tires i would run at least 5.13 gears or more.

Re: Want to go 1 ton

Thank's guys. Been looking at the doubler setup. My stock 4 speed is going to need a rebuild and am thinking of swapping in a automatic. Any thoughts on that idea?
