Re: My 1964 Suburban Project

Thanks guys. I was gonna run new rails from front to back. But looking at the timeline I want it done by and the quality of truck I want it to be I figured I better just do it from the firewall back.

Re: My 1964 Suburban Project

Well it doesn't look like much, but it's progress. It takes me longer to decide what I want to do than to actually do it. Tomorrow I will hopefully get the uppers in and some of the tube work done.

Mesquite. Your welcome to stop by anytime. I've pretty much got the upper bars finished now. I only snapped two pics and my camera died. I will take more tomorrow after I work on it.

Bagged69...

I'm in Grapevine and would really like to stop by and see the work in progress. Any possible way I could come by your shop and take a look at your project?

Is your truck on the road? I haven't seen too many early 60's short-steps running around the area.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
