Re: Double D

Okie dokie, made a little progress over the last week or so. I pulled the body and started hacking.

Also put some dumps on the mufflers.

And put the body back on with the new stepper bed

I'm leaving the 3 spd for now. If you have those rings let me know, I'd be glad to take them off of your hands

I could use those. I put a universal one on temporary that doesn't fit very well. Are you going to Luv's cookout? If so you could just bring them with you.

Re: Double D

Got the fenders lined up and bolted down night before last. Last night I got the hood, cowl, and 17" wheels on. Put on a new set of header gaskets and made a little altitude adjustment as well. Still needs some more work but it's getting there!

Still in TX. It'll be a couple years before I'm able to make a move somewhere else. We are going to check things out when we go up for Luv's cookout in 2 weeks

Re: Double D

Damn mike, I dont talk to you for a couple of weeks and you grow another truck on me. We need to keep spray bomb away from you. Its like giving a red headed step child fire works. :P

Looks like you have a nice beater on your hands there, it will make a good shop truck. - Nick

Re: Double D

Shortened the driveshaft and got it put in. Went for a quick test drive, I have to get some weight on the rear end, this thing is all over the place with just a little tap on the gas.

Then I decided it was time to clean up the tools I used all week and didn't put back.
