I don't mind the 15's for now, they were what was on it when I started. I will probally powder the centers and roll them untill I can afford the vintecs.

Awesome truck! Subscribed!

On a side note, how do you like the Viair 480s with two 3 gallon tanks? Are the compressors loud? Do they fill the tanks pretty quick? I was thinking about going with the same setup.

Thanks! The tank and compressor set up seem to work about perfect for what I use them for. I don't try to hop it or hit the switches all the time, just raise or lower it. I have a 200psi switch and 3/8 line and it lifts fast enough for me. I can lift the truck about 2 1/2 time before they kick on and the refill time isn't too bad. I mounted the compressors with rubber isolators, I think you can see them in the pictures, when the truck is running you can't even hear them run.

It's not too much to look at yet ! I decide to paint it a little more modern blue. We took the bed back off to finish some body work, the doors and hood are edged in. The seat is at the interior shop getting recovered in some black leather and getting thinned out a little bit. Hopefully the cab and front end will be painted within the next week and I can finally start putting it back together. I also picked up an unwelded tank from boyd welding that I will be putting in. I will throw up some pictures as soon as i get something worth looking at. Thanks!

How's your project coming along?

Re: 71 c10 Dropmembered Driver

One quick question-with that size of tire you have on there, would it be possible to run the stock hood hinges?

What size are your wheels on your trucks? I think the hoe is the only one old enough to drink! I think I'm stickin with the 20/22 combo. I gotta have some sidewall.... unless I come across a blow out deal on 22's for all 4!

No you couldn't and still be that low. The tire is a 275-60-15 which is 28" overall tall. A 255-35-20 is 27" tall. It's all about the overall diameter. The only possible way you could get that low with stock hinges may be with some 13" daytons or something with a very small tire. Changing hood hinges isn't a big deal compared to the work it takes to go that low. I had my hinges on and done in about 5 hours.

Yep he had some extra black leather laying around that wasn't enough to do a whole interior.

No not yet I've been super busy at the shop doing shows and working my a$$ off to get the good guys giveaway car done, but the good news is the mustang is done so I can finally get some time to work on it now. Heres a pic just for conversation. Hopefully this week I can hit it hard... it's starting to get nice here!
