Re: New seats!!!!

Man, that looks AWESOME!

I love how you deleted the head rest portion ... I've never cared for a head-rest style seat in these year trucks. They look out of place to me.

Re: New seats!!!!

They look fantastic from where I sit, how do they do on a road trip? They look like they would be good for some long road trips without your back giving you a bad time.

Re: New seats!!!!

Very nice. Like I've already said, beautiful truck. That two tone really sets it off. If you don't mind me asking, about what did it cost you to have them re upholstered? I'm thinking I want to have mine done when I paint.

Re: New seats!!!!

I hate to bring back this old of a post, but I am still curious ballpark what you have in them. I honestly like these better than buddy buckets and if I could get them for close to same price I would go this route instead of an old buddy bucket I have to repair.

Re: New seats!!!!

Those seats are awesome. I saw your truck parked in front of the GET bus station on Chester during the last car show downtown. Your whole truck is amazing. My dad thinks you live by him, by Westdale park. He's the one cruising the '64 chevelle ragtop.

Re: New seats!!!!

Sorry to be off the subject but your truck is one sharp looking chev.. I am still trying to decided on the size and offset of the wheel. I like the way yours looks what size and offset are they if you dont mind..

Re: New seats!!!!

Nice set. Very well done with class. I've seen a bunch of seats in our trucks and these are amongst the most tasteful I've seen. Good call.

Re: New seats!!!!

Thank you everybody for the compliments. I purchased the seats and after installing never felt good about them. I spent too much money getting them to the final product but they finally look right. The seats cost about $850 new with the mounting kit shipped. The local guy cut the headrests off, reshaped the foam, and made the covers. He charged me $800.

The tan material is vinyl and the black is leather.

The wheels on the truck are 17X8 with 4" backspace on the front, 17X9.5 with 5" of backspace on the rear. Tires are 255-60-17 and 285-60-17.

Thanks again!

Those look great. The only thing I would have done different, would be to put them in my truck instead of yours! Lookin' good.
