Re: Suspension Questions for my '71 K5..

great work.
did you really need the driveshafts lengthened?
i thought the OEM shafts would work ok with a 4" lift?

You still smoking cigars? I'll bring a bunch for us. BTW what kind of lift kit and shocks do you have on your rig? That is a 4" lift?

Re: Suspension Questions for my '71 K5..

hi bigeasy,
i am about to do the same 4" susp lift and replace all the frontend joints with moog. it seems you had about the same concerns and requirements as i do regarding ride quality and how we will use these trucks.

since you just went through this, would you be able to post the part numbers for the lift components and moog stuff? it would be great for me to get a head start on finding these items.

for a while i was thinking tuff country, but i have heard a lot of negative comments lately as well....so i think you made a good choice.
thanks,
tom

Re: Suspension Questions for my '71 K5..

i have a four inch lift on my rig my driveshafts worked great plus i didnt need extended brake lines but im going to by some any ways i had rear all spring lift and the ride was really rough but when i put blocks in the rear with the stock springs the ride was way much nicer. my springs are rough country.
