Re: Porterbuilt parts

Wow. Looks real nice. A little heads up incase you have not noticed, but I was on porterbuiltstreetrods.com looking at pics of this and I noticed in one of the pictures that your caliper bleeder screws were facing down. It would be awfully hard to bleed the calipers like that. Hopefully it was just mock up and you've fixed it since then, but if not yet, now you know.

Funny, thats where i noticed it also. I wasn't going to put the calipers on until i do the brakes but i tossed them on just for looks and got them on the wrong sides, funny thing is their marked R-L. Oh well just wanted to get the wheels on so i could push it out of my garage turn it around and push it back in so i can start on the rear half. Thanks guys

Re: Porterbuilt parts

Cool, I am glad you noticed too. I cannot believe that paint is spray can stuff, it looks like powder from the pics. Same treatment for the rear?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
