Re: Tall and skinny tires for '68 C10 Longbed

Your 68 looks nice blazerman. I love me some tall narrow tires. I ran 34x10.50 super swampers on my old 85 K20 I had a few years back.

Beautiful truck, Blazerman! You're right, we have twins...

What brand of tire are you running?

BLAZERMAN....I'm in love with your truck. What is your rim/tire combo? Exactly the look and stance I'm looking for with my K.

Not trying to hijack, but BLAZERMAN, I love your K-10! I'm using it as my desktop picture to keep me motavated in my 4x4 swap, I'm hoping mine turns out looking as good as your's when I get it done!

Oh and on the original question, I'm running 31x10.5 General Grabbers on my 72 currently, I think it sits about right for a 2wd now!

Re: Tall and skinny tires for '68 C10 Longbed

Thanks for the complements guys. the tires are 33"x9.50" 15 on 6" wide stock steel wheels. The truck has a 2.5" Skyjacker Softride lift...I'm not sure on the brand of tires..I bought them new off Ebay years ago..the only thing they say is High Traction Radial.

If i am not mistaken mine are 235/85/16, here are a couple of pics. I think you would not have a problem even if it is not a 4x4.

Absolutely love this truck!

Long-steps are my faves, and this one is timeless. Great ride, man!

Thanks much. I've owned some great vehicles, foreign and domestic, but none have given me as much enjoyment and service as this old stepper.
