Yeah, especially in the Emerald Triangle

I won't say anything negative about Nor Cal...I like it there too. Sorry things did not work out for you down here Roger. Hope it gets better for you back home.

Oh, by the way....did you happen to look up at the Billboard in the parking lot of the Moss Bros. dealership that you purchased your new car? You can see it on the left side, just as you switch from the 10 to the 215 fwy....It has been there for years...and I can guarantee you won't see one of them up North

In fact, most people's perception of California would be blown out of the water by it.

Had to sell the 72 to facilitate the move back north.

All in all .......not a bad deal.
I got a 2011 dodge challenger out of it, in toxic orange pearl.

Thanks so much to everyone here for your help,

Palm Springs is nice though...right? it's well known over here, that's where all the retired folk move to I think.

Palm Springs is OK, and yes it is a place a lot of people retire to and play golf. But in the last few years it is a popular place for people that are into alternative lifestyles, so other than a place that a popular biker annual event takes place I don't go there.
Most of the cities outside of Palm Springs are pretty dull, and to add to the sparse places of interest they are places you don't care to stop in other than to top off the fuel tank.

Personally I'd be on my way to NorCal as well if I lived there, since the weather is cooler and there is more rainfall in a year than down South.

It's interesting to hear that mate...it's a shame too that socal is plaqued by that gang culture crap.

Rape, Gang Fights, Flying Colors, and being so close to the Mexican Border doesnt help it either.

That's funny coming from a state where the political officials wanted to boycott us here in AZ for setting forth laws to take a chunk out of these issues.
Still have family that live in Cali, so I know what you mean. That's why my butt is over here in AZ Alot of those Californians have migrated over here the last 5-6 years.

Did you say you were moving to Northern Cali?? I have family just North of Sacramento that have lived up there since the 1930's. Even Sacramento isn't what it used to be. The rice fields are shrinking.
