Now that it runs as smooth as a watch......I've decided that the powertrain will stay as it is.

It needs all the body mounts replaced......any idea's?

If I install a Mustang II front axle, Can I retain the stock steering column and shifter?

Thanks hopped up. I think you're absolutely right. Had blast driving around town today running errands. Has anyone here tried a stock type dropped front axle and lowering blocks for the rear? Does drivability suffer? I'll give it a good bath this weekend and update the pics.

If you are not into dropping it to the ground on airbags then the drop straight axel is a good choice. There are also front disc brake conversion kits availible. I know there are some guys on this forum that have done it so do some searching and you will find their builds. There are also some guys who have modified their stock steering column and made it work with rack and pinion or other power steering set ups.
