Looks good so far. Alot of that may just hammer and dolly out. Great work on the core support.

Oh I will! I'm weighing my options of buying a nicer set of side from an outfit by Sacramento. Apparently they have 1000's of these trucks for parts.

Very cool project and plans you have for it. You definitely have your work cut out for you. I can relate. Subscribing.

Man you can do it right the first time...but doesn't mean you wont want to "improve" something later, lol. Keep the momentum brother and get to the point where you are enjoying it!!

I have a year or two before I can "enjoy" it. Actually I enjoy working on cars and trucks as much as driving them. But this will be one of my more in depth builds so I want to do it how I want it and how my wallet wants it at the same time. Right now Im cleaning things up and buying parts. Should be starting frame work in the next few weeks (rear notch and supports, hopefully).

Thanks!

I sure do, sometimes I wish there were more guys I knew down this way who wanted to lend a hand but its just me.

Ive also been working 12 hour days at work so havent had time to make any "real" progress on the build but have been buying and selling parts left and right. Should be ordering some parts to start suspension in the next few weeks or so. I hope.

Thanks!

Havent anything worth reporting besides cleaning the frame up. Im going to be starting chassis work in the next few weeks though! I have been looking around at 4-link set ups from kp, Porterbuilt and on ebay. Anyone have any recommendations? I know, I know I should just go with PB when I order the front dropmember in November but Im looking at bang for buck too. suggestions?

Re: Tripp's Speed Shop Build

I bet Ebay has some forgotten projects you can pick up pretty reasonable and have extra parts to sell or use.....I am assuming you could use something like that unless a dropmember is custom to your truck. I have never dealt with one of those.

Thanks! I've been doing a little backyard remodel so funds have been low. Can't wait to get back on it though!

Re: Tripp's Speed Shop Build

No updates unfortunately. I've been saving for my front suspension (3k). I've been looking at various rear step notches but haven't fount any that wow me. Curious to what other people use other than the porterbuilt on the rear.
