Yep I have always been a cautious type and with all the shooting and robberies in my area I'm not risking my life for a truck that I just wanted to check out.

If it has plates and none of the neighbors can help ya, get a chp officer to run the plate or VIN. If it's not stolen, and it registration is really old, lein sale it to yourself. I did this with an old motorhome that was abandoned just so I could bet the Dodge 440/727 out of it!

Well I'm heading north tomorrow to go look at an 88' and I'll pass by and ask around. My dad also has a friend that's a chp that can probably help us out. I really want to go see this truck. Even if it has to be from a distance.
