Very nice project. I'm going to follow along. Looks like a solid truck to start with.

Re: My 69 Chevy stepper

I am having a difficult time figuring the year of the engine in my truck. When I put it in the truck way back when I didn't care it was a 350 and it made it go fast, and I was young and didn't care. I done some research on line with little luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Got some parts from inline tube today, so I started running my stainless steel brake lines.

Re: My 69 Chevy stepper

I love getting parts from jegs. I haven't got a lot done last week and this week looks about the same, I do have a three day weekend coming up.

Re: My 69 Chevy stepper

Didn't get a lot done this week, I thought I would over the weekend but the wife got sick. And I was left to watch the kids, I did how ever sneak out today for about two hours while the baby slept. I got my rear brake line from in line on Friday. I have to make a bracket so I can mount my T. I would cut off the tab a weld a new one on but I haven't bought my welder yet. Anyway the wrench is a temporary fix.

Got some more done on the bed, got the side rails off. And got one fender off, not as easy as I thought.

Re: My 69 Chevy stepper

Mine has turned into more than I ever imigined but like yours ,it will be worth the wait .Mine has been in the bodyshop for 2 1/2 years but my plans have been enhanced by current and past builds I see on this site .I was originally just going for a driver quality paintjob but it kind of got out of hand ,may be too nice for a daily driver now. Watching builds such as yours keeps me going on mine .

Welder and new parts for the truck are adding up to an interesting build.
