Re: Pulled Muscle - Older Gents

It really blows this time, area is smaller, making pain worse in a way, crazy how so many movements are connected, even the smallest ones, I have to move deliberate with fore thought to use both sides of my body equal. only been 24hrs since the big sneeze, just clearing my throat this AM was torture.

Re: Pulled Muscle - Older Gents

Things get stranger with age.

I lost my cell phone in a 20ft walk and its gone like it feel into a black hole.

had it in the hallway to see, grab keys and stuff on table, walk out to car, get 1 block away, wheres my phone?

It was then gone, yard, leaves, driveway, no one walks through there, and its all dark, looked for a hr till spot light was dead.

Why??????????

I dropped a can of corn on my big toe last Thanksgiving. It's been almost a year and the nail is still not all the way back.

Add another 10 years then blow one of those discs out. 2 epidural injections into the spine, acupuncture, and yeah, you eventually get use to it.

For those who are younger (20's) and think they can be the man by lifting anything without any care, prepare yourself because it all comes back to bite you within another 10+ years. Back trouble sucks!

Re: Pulled Muscle - Older Gents

I pulled a muscle in my lower back last saturday, after a week of muscle relaxers I'm just starting to get over it, oh yeah I'm 45 lol. I guess it's karma, been making fun of my wife for having to get bifocals. While I've been using a heating pad all week lol.

Re: Pulled Muscle - Older Gents

You know, Gumby, my B I L' worked this problem out a few years ago. They put up the lights and left them. My sister would say, "Aren't you going to take down the Christmas lights?" and He would reply Dave hasn't taken his down yet, so it's not time yet." The other sister would say"Aren't you going to take down the lights" Him, "It's not time yet, Mike hasn't taken his down". By the time my sisters caught on, it was Oct. and they claimed it wouldn't be good to take them down and just have to put them back up.

Got any brothers in law?

Re: Pulled Muscle - Older Gents

Pain from hanging lights on the house. I found that I can beat tha. , I have the wife hang the string with the flashlight tied on the end of it, on the hook on the front porch and I am done. Changing batteries once-in-awhile is another thing.
