Think Ive got it, the side emblems are below the crease on a 55 and above the crease on a 56?? As I dont have the front emblem can someone show where the holes should be drilled on each model (55 and 56) or maybe what distance they are apart. Almost there!!!

Just went out and measured the holes for the hood emblem on my 55 2nd pickup. There are 4 holes and the outside ones are 18.5ins on center. The '56 ornament is wider, so I would assume the holes would be wider apart? My truck was originally a V8 and the vin is VH255L0219XX.
