Thanks sir. You can call me wick. That username was taken though. That's what I go by on all the other forums.
Seeing all these people nearby. Always nice to have close people when something could be needed also.

You got it. He has a 72 nova white. Never drives it though. He Mostly drives the Tahoe or duramax. We ride street bikes together as well. Hell, he was the best man in my failed marriage. Haha.

Hey Welcome. I'm down in the Mon Valley area. I didn't realize how many Pittsburghers are on here either.

I cant recall if I have ever seen his Nova, but I might have. Maybe at one of the local car cruises. I have a 67 Chevelle I take to them. That and I'm forever driving it around North Side and North Hills area. He's probably seen my car

You would remember it if you did see it. It was done in the late 70's early 80's. It's kinda running with that style still. He hasn't had much time to change it up. We've both talked about changing the car and making it more modern. He did finally change the brakes to front disc. He's been gathering stuff for the last couple years. Got a 5.3 LS and a turbo set up. One of these days it will go back under the knife.

I love Chevelles!!! I spent the last couple years looking for a 70-72 and couldn't find a legit basis to start with in a reasonable price range. Last one made me laugh. Has a sunroof cut in to it, quarters look like those special invisible ones, body all banged up, has a 307 in it and the guy wants $5000 firm. Ouch!!

Re: New guy from Pittsburgh

What color is your chevelle? I had a 89 red fox body a while back with a blower. Pretty nasty car. Full weight car with working AC and all. Best time in it was 11.50's with a 1.50 60'. I don't drag race, I just did it for fun that day. Left th line at 7000, 21psi boost and side stepped the clutch. Wheels up. What a rush!! Had on Hoosier 26x10 that my buddy let me use for the day. He was kinda a supporting and helpful person that day.

That sounds sweet! I don't really do any (legal) racing either, although I'd like to. Last time was a few years ago when they held the last of the Flashlight Drags at the Zeli airport

Here is my Chevelle. I was looking for a photo I had with it and my 72 project SWB K10, but my damn SD card in my phone is corrupt and I lost all of those pics. Everyone thinks it's marina blue, so I just agree with them. It's actually Mulsanne Blue, a 1970 color

That's a real nice chevelle bud! I've always loved them. My mom has a few pics of my dad holding me sitting on the hood of one of his. It was a '66.

Re: New guy from Pittsburgh

Hey guys, I've decided to sell my 70 SWB. I hate to sound stupid but I couldn't figure out how to create a new ad in the classifieds. I thought I'd post in here since most of you guys are in the Pittsburgh area. If any of you know how to create an ad in the classifieds, I'd appreciate any help with that.

You have to be a supporting member to post a classified ad.
