2.5 front, either 3 or 4 in the rear. Front was done with spindles and springs; rear was done with shackles and hangers. All four are 295/50 15, on four 15x10 wheels.

Sorry I left out my wheel width, 15x7 front with 4" backspace and 15x8 rear with 4" backspace.

I currently have 2.5 spindles only on front but ordered some 1 inch drop springs for the front.

Is that question for me? Because after I said that, I had the same thought that you did. I can't find my paperwork for the suspension work, so I can't refer to that. I'm positive that both spindles and springs were replaced. Actually, it's very possible that the spindles provide the drop, and the springs were replaced with stock-height springs. Because, before I lowered it, when I had the last front end alignment done, one spring was...what's the word? Sagging? Un-sprung? Collapsed? Anyway, one of the front springs was too much shorter than the other one, and they weren't able to align it properly.

...maybe.

This was my first stage of lowering my C10. Flip kit on the rear and 3" spindles up front. 255-70-15 tires on all four corners. I just lowered it more this past weekend. I'll post those pictures when I get them sent over.

Unfortunately no. It's been repainted at some point. It will need it again the clear is really peeling off the hood and tops of the fenders. It's the same color as factory though. Here's my second picture from this past week. Cut one coil from the front and went to 245-60-15.

badchevys that thing sits nice , what all did you do to get your 6/8 drop and how dose it ride?

Really diggin that truck man. So green/white is the factory though, just been repainted? Looks really sweet just a bit lower now. I think im gonna go for the same front tire size you're running now.

Rims are like the 69' shorty on Dazed N' Confused

Thanks for the compliments. The front has heated springs (done long time ago) to achieve a 3" drop and also has 3" Belltech spindles. The rear has straightened leaf springs (done at the same time as the springs) to get a 4" drop and also has a flip kit. It also has a c-notch. The truck also has helper bags out back that need to be aired up all the time. If not, the frame sits on the axle and this is with a button type bump stop. As for the ride, rides smooth. Same as my '87 that's lowered 4/6. Only thing is I have to be very careful where I drive.

it looks like it's ready to pounce, very cool stance, and it works on this black step side
