Re: This truck is crying inside

Everything else aside, I've always wondered what a ford bed would look like on there. Not too bad. It's got the rounded out wheel wells and the body lines match up worlds better than gen 4 bed I got on mine... All the paint fell off it about 20 years ago too. I also like the Cleveland, and last I looked there were about a bazillion different configurations of the 350.
Good on him for keeping it working.

Wow what a shame, between the grille and the box- hideous!!! Poor ol girl. As for Ferds well not much use for them. I like what my buddy did in his man cave, he glued a blue oval to the bottom of his toilet! The only one I ever owned came with our first house (pretty redneck- house comes with rusty beat up ol Ferd!) and we traded it for free trims for our horses with the farrier!!!

Do you like the 351M? How many changes on the 350 in how many years? Still the same basic design 1968-1995, and small blocks interchanging parts since 1955. A lot more things than a SBC changed in those 40 years. How many small block Ford designs in that time? I can't tell you how many times I have stood at the parts counter and had someone walk up with a Ford part and say, "This isn't the right part". I had one Dodge and parts were a nightmare. I went with Chevy for ease of parts and designs that stood the test of time. Don't want a pissing match, so I'm done. Like I said, we like what we like. Let's leave it at that. What do you expect on a GM Truck site?

Really? Lol. I guess everybody has an opinion. just razzing ya!!

Aside from the hideous make over, i still say if pics are accurate, cab and clip look fairly solid. Might get it for 7 or $800..

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding
