... no caps are period correct. Most of the time the 8" steelies would ne left with the crappy black they came with. A truck with gloss white paint, or even gloss black, was gettin' fancy

Thanks for the insight. Looks like caps it is! I agree with the consensus that the deep dish wheels on a 3/4 ton look good without caps. The caps on the stock 6" wheels was ok, but look much better on the 8". Guess i better get busy putting caps on...

Tim, i hope your caps are in a safe somewhere!!
